Incredible Calcluator

This a really great calculator that still holds up to this day. It can do 3D graphing and you can type down notes with the keyboard. It's a really strong and hefty device that will serve you well. It's older technology, but still a very powerful CAS calculator.

My rating is based upon the state of technology at the time this calculator was released. Hardware wise, this is the big screen version of the TI-98 CAS calculator. They are both MC68000 based and run the same OS and apps. The TI-92 Plus is an upgrade from the straight TI-92. The contrast was improved, and it has more memory. Some people do not like that it is rather big and a bit clunky, but its performance and querty keyboard make it an outstanding CAS grapher. I use mine for 68000 assembly language programming, since I have since moved on to later model CAS graphers from TI.

A final note: If you are looking for an inexpensive CAS graphing calculator, do not hesitate to buy this one. It will serve you well up through the calculus string and beyond.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Oldie but a Goodie!

I have three of these calculators and I like it better than the N-spire, It's easier to use and the keys are spread out. For those that do higher math this is an ideal calculator.

Go a TI-92 Plus or a Voyage 200 and stay away of a TI-92.

Wonderful and capable calculator but in the TI-92 the display is a little dim. The display was improved in the TI-92 Plus and Voyage 200, this is why I recommend expend a little more money and get one of these two last models.

Perfect condition and works great.

My original TI-92 from 1995 started having display problems so I ordered this one. It arrived in like-new/perfect working condition. I swapped out my plys module from my old one into this one and works just as awesome as ever. Great calculator for college math classes

A lot easier to use and slightly faster than the TI-89 Titanium I had before.
Love the QWERTY keyboard that makes accessing built-in functions a lot easier.

Very good calculador with a non readable screen

Ti 92 is an excellent calculator with super capabilities to all range of engineers, economics, etc . Has only one but very big problem, the screen is almost unreadable under day or artificial light. A pity.Vollständige Rezension lesen

It's actually a very powerful machine, but the display is monochrome (gray on gray) and the typeface is small and unattractive and hard to read.

Very low contrast on screen

Difficult to read the screen. Under some lighting conditions it is impossible to read the screen. While it is possible to lighten or darken the screen using the appropriate keys, the contrast is still poor to unreadable.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good working calculator

A very good, working calculator. I also got the TI 92 suggestions with it. This is a book that seems to be confusing but serviceable.
