Great tube
This tube has a very good sound to it and works good for jazz and has a great saturated sound when over driven for rock solos. I would buy it again. I play through a Valve King Uptown 33 amp and it is alsome.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Better Tone and More Overhead
I used this tube in the V1 slot of my 18 Watt EL-84 head imported and sold by Spec-Ops (A marshall-like clone).
The head was a little too much gain for my needs. This solved my tone issues immediately.
Best decision ever. I have more clean overhead room now and the tone is more of a crunch sound rather than melt-your-brain overdrive.

russia seems to make tubes alot better than china in any case this was a high gain tube and it did just that
I didnt put it in my preamp section but in the phazeection i assume, and it increase the distortion very nice and ven the volume with no problems with the tone, if ya need more gain in your output section buy this tube!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

The Lexus of Tubes
JJ tubes are outstanding in value and performance. My head came with tubes made in China, I replaced them with JJ's and love the sound my amp is making now.

Marshall JCM2000 DSL50 Preamp tubes
Retubed two of my Marshall JCM2000 50 watt DSL heads with gain matched quad sets of JJ Electronics Tesla 12AX7 preamp tubes along with new JJ power amp tubes.

Preamp upgrade
These made a huge difference in my Little Bear T10 v2.2. Cut Hum in half which wasn't bad before but is nonexistent now! This is 3rd set and my experience has been that performance improves as they have time to burn in, about 8 to 10 hours. If that holds true they will be phenomenal. Good sounding pre amp tubes
I haven't used them yet but I bought them for maintenance on my various amps. I understand that they are rugged and reliable and very musical and rich with great harmonics.
