Solid performer
When the SL-23 arrived, I tested it and I noticed that platter speed was fluctuating. I did some research and it turns out that this particular TT's speed selector and speed fine adjustment pots as well as the speed variable resistors need contact cleaning every few years. I did just that. Now, I believe my SL-23 works like new. This is a solid performer.
Also, I like the classic look and the automatic return function.

Had one as a teenager...... always thought it had great sound. Bought this in great shape other than the needle broke in shipping. New needle sounds great.
