'Legendary Ladies' offer rare look at the stars

This experience offers a glimpse into the work of a Great working actor, Ava Gardner. Through the direction of Roddy McDowall expect some experimentation but it only serves to enhance this fantasy retelling of an Irish myth about a goddess who stays young eternally, with an occasional culling of the herd of young swinger perpetually underfoot. This is a wonderful use of two solidly fine actors and a good introduction to a very pert young Ian McShane. The mention of 'Legendary Ladies' in the title is referring to the grouping of five films in a series put out by Republic Films.Vollständige Rezension lesen
