New Life for an E-MU 1212M PCI sound card

My E-MU 1212M PCI sound card is now back up and running in a PCI Express only motherboard computer. Yes, IT WORKS !!!

This sound card is used for audio testing, with 24bit 96KHz 1 million point FFTs.

I chose the StarTech product as I have confidence in the brand and it is well-made with a proper power supply section.

I had to remove the S/PDIF connectors to make it fit (see pic), but that is a small thing compared to having the card back up and working in my new computer.
