Star Wars: Battlefront (PlayStation 4, 2015)

Fun and simple. Must play for Star Wars Fans, for the right price.

Yea its doesn't have the sheer amount of content as the first two battlefronts. Although it did get some free updates, including offline skirmish with bots. But this new battlefront addition still provides an authentic star wars experience. I mainly got it after renting for a few days, and falling in love with the fighter combat. I also paid less than $15 for my copy. And now there's a complete edition for $40, with eventual sales and discounts to come.

This game may have not been worth MSRP for many at launch. But I certainly got my $15 dollars worth of fun.Vollständige Rezension lesen

See (and shoot up) Star Wars like you never have before

Star Wars Battlefront has been a long-awaited title for many fans and gamers alike. It, like most major titles, faced numerous delays and big cuts in production in order to get the game out. It's obvious by now the major complaint is the lack of a story (aka campaign mode). Besides that, being able to step-into the worlds of SW is an incredible experience. Hiking through the snowy mountains of Hoth, or zipping through the redwood trees on a speeder bike, the amount of detail is breathtaking.
There are a handful of training missions, where the player can choose where to shoot and choose a weapon. The only other game option is online multiplayer, which requires PS Plus subscription. Oh, and the requirement to have an ability not to die every 12 seconds by a 17-year-old online player who will snipe you the minute you spawn. That's always a (not) good time. Not as good as Battlefront 2

Graphic looks very nice. But everything else is bit of disappointing. Gameplay is infantry focused but without customizable weaponry. No more classes, no space battle, no campaign , no galactic conquest.
I buy it because I used to play BF 2 a lot, however, this is a let down experience. EA also charges 50 dollar season pass , but I will never get it . because it should included in the original game.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Fun game. I wish it had a single campaign

I like Star Wars, more accurate, I LOVE STAR WARS!!!. As a kid I'm sure that watching that movie in the cinemas changed my life.I didn't have this game because everybody told me that it is a multiplayer only game and I'm not that good at playing. Nothing more frustrating than to start the game and in 5 second get kill by a 10 year old kid in his pajamas in another city. But since I love so much the movies and characters, I needed to give it a try. The graphics are excellent, the music is too. In a way it let me enjoy and be part of the movie. I did the training missions and the X-wig fighters are great. the training mission with Darth Vader is also good but his phrases are limited and become very repetitive after a while. I wish there was a single campaign mode. If you love the Star Wars movie, get it. Hopefully you are better than me, but if you are not, give me the chance to play against you before I develop an inferiority complex. May the force be with you!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Battlefront

Thank you I just got thw game and thank you for getting it to me by Christmas it is a gift . I would like to know if I can get a book on how the controls work. Again thank you my hubby will love it.

Not the battlefront I grew up with...

Many have waited for over a decade since the release of SWBFII for a new Battlefront game. This game is a colossal disappointment to the fans, this game is so dumbed down and stripped of so many of it's content it's shocking, not even dlc expansions can fix this. The game was redesigned for a very casual audience instead of a real gaming community. Great game

My son's love this game. The graphics are awesome and they love to fight in survival battles together. They like this one better than battlefront II.

No Campaign...

I'm not really into online matchups so take that into consideration here. The fact that they don't offer a campaign or story play was a bummer. Star Wars Battlefront (Sony PlayStation 4, 2015) ps4 new

Excellent game. Most people will buy this for the online content as the single player does not offer much but it is fun & gives you practice before engaging in the online battles(plus you need to finish the single player to gain all the diorama achievements). The only drawback is how expensive the expansion packs are - about as much as the game itself. Occasionally I get a server error but for the most part online play is relatively smooth even with 40 players. Would buy this again if I had to.Vollständige Rezension lesen
