Much tighter than previous ones
I have used this model of lock before and they have given good service provided oiling is carried out regularly. However, this recently bought HSQCP50S was very tight and I did not put it into service immediately, as I was sure my wife and daughter would not be able to push the button, especially with longish finger nails. I was right, it beat them every time. Now they use a wooden plunger to open. Not what we expected of an expensive lock. Simple but effective padlock
I have been using this lock for about three weeks now and have no complaints. It performs as advertised, is well made, solid but simple to use and effective for the purpose which I bought it.
