Stopped working after 4 days
The combination number was set and written down (just in case). After 4 days of working, we as a family were unable to open the padlock. The numbers were evenly matched, but the bottom button at the base of the padlock would not press in. Variations of the number were tried above and below the set number - no luck. In the end took an angle grinder to it. Spent time looking online prior and found 2 videos on YouTube demonstrating how easy it was to open a squire combination padlock, working out the tension as you scrolled through the numbers. Not as secure as I was led to believe. I will probably go back to using a good old fashioned key padlock.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Squire Weathershield padlock

The Only Lock You'll Need
A good quality Squire branded lock with a good guarantee. The 40mm size lock is in use securing a gate. The lock is easy to use, with clear instructions. Not my best buy.
I wouldn't recommend it because the build quality is not good. In particular the code wheels are small and wobbly and this makes it very fiddly to operate.

Small numbers, not really for large or arthritic fingers
The numbers are tiny, each 3mm width.
I have arthritis which makes it not possible for me to operate this particular padlock.
Good quality but apparently designed for young fingers.
