This doesn't look like it was ever touched by anyone. It is as new as it can be and works just as it should. I wanted something with a little more versatility but still able to take great pictures and this does that. Sharp throughout, functions well, good colors. can't ask for more at such a reasonable price. Perfect fit with the Sony A SLT/dslr cameras!

Must have lens

I've owned the 70-300 G and a 80-200 G yes they are sharp but for a cropped sensor this lens just makes more sense at 55-300 so I decided to take a chance. Is it as good as the expensive G series "no" but will you get great pictures? Yes and it is compact and light compared to the much heavier G lens.
