Nice Pads but too thin.
Thank you for our nicely packaged product. Unfortunately these are half the thickness from the original pads. Our child has Autism and these headphone pads need to be very padded (as the previous pair were) and used for noise cancellation. Perhaps Sony has made changes since we purchased the last pair.

Amazing Headphones for a Great Price
These headphones are amazing. It’s lightweight, comfortable and has a good quality sound. It was shipped earlier than expected for me, and the packaging came completely brand new. These headphones do not feel cheap. The only problem is that if you put the volume too high, others can hear what you’re listening to, but it’s almost faint. Good for the casual listener who doesn't mind heavy, cheaply made, bulky phones. Worth the price. Not for the professional audiophile.
Sound is good overall (rich bass and full volume). Nice "stated" frequency response of 12Hz - 22,000Hz, however specific frequencies are not showing up according to a Spectroid test. Construction leaves a bit to be desired. Not a fan of the shiny, mirror-like plastic on the cups (it's cheap feeling and quickly gathers dust and fingerprints). Short cord made of vinyl (might not last too long). They fit a bit tight (even over my smallish head) giving your ears a squeezed feeling, so I had to bend out the plastic headband a bit. I prefer the lighter, less bulky style of walkman headphones from the 1990's, but this one does cancel more outside noise and provides better bass. Ear cup cushion material is not foam but faux leather that feels cold on the ears and gathers skin oils. The ear pieces frequently swivel out of place and the cheap plastic hinges holding them will probably fail quickly. Had to place tape around the headband to hold them in place. Inexpensive headphones for day to day operations!
For a knock around inexpensive headphone, you cant go wrong with the Sony MDRZX110 headphone set. It has modern features like folding clamshell design and sleek modern looking shell. If listening to high pitched analog audio, you tell its not reaching the extreme dynamic range, but for digital media such as listening to youtube or podcasts, its a fantastic headphone for the price. If you looking for better audiophile sound, look for the better Sony MDR-V150 units, particularly the older ones. But these are great inexpensive phones for the day to day tasks... and you do not have to worry about how expensive they are when they inevitably break from sitting on them. 4 out of 5, and when considering the costs, 5 out of 5.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Okay, but cheap. You get what you pay for....
What I got wasn't the same color, but they functioned well enough. These are very inexpensive headphones. If you treat them well, they'll last awhile. If not, they won't last a day. I'm very careful not to tug on the cords or use any kind of physical force on them. I bought two, just in case, and I'm glad I did. The one I'd been using for several months finally broke where the earphone adjustment bracket connects to the headpiece. It still functions, but instead of formfitting to my head, one side just dangles there. Now, I'm using the other set. So far, so good....Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good solid cans
Sony has a fair amount of professional headphones on the market that are well made and popular but do not last due to design flaws such as the MDR series that almost every musician has used at one time or another and that little exposed wire going to each speaker side that either dries out and cracks connection or gets yanked on and broken within a year or so. I loved the sound of the series but my last pair lasted 2 months before the connection broke and I decided not to spend $80 on another pair so I found these with no exposed wire and they sound great! Not as dynamic as their MDR series but good overall sound for the price and are lightweight and seem to be rugged enough to be thrown around and still work wellVollständige Rezension lesen

Lightweight great sound.
I wanted to use them with a samsung phone but they would not work with the adapter I had to buy. It is a s20fe5g. The headphones would not work with this phone but does work with my old phone. Great for the Money!
They work as well as some of the more expensive brands I've used in the past.
And these are much lighter and less cumbersome than a lot of them.
