Can't get it to PlayBack
I have been unable to get the camera to play back my previous tapes which is why I bought the thing in the first place. I wanted to view a box of tapes and convert them to a digital format. Old but still good.
Plays my old Hi8 tapes and seems to be working. My old Canon stopped functioning (something to do with the capacitors and who can fix it?), so the Sony was a good solution. The only thing lacking is an S-video output, but I have a usb converter I will use to upload my tapes.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Useful for digitizing Hi8 tapes
This camcorder was easy to use. It helped that the owner's manual was easy to locate online. I wanted to digitize my Hi8 tapes, and it was fairly trouble-free connecting the camcorder to my laptop using Elgato. The capture process went smoothly.Vollständige Rezension lesen
