Sony ECM-77B Condenser Cable Professional Microphone

Excellent professional lavalier

This has a wider frequency response than the Sony ECM-44, which is somewhat cheaper, and the noise floor is also slightly lower. For me the extra $$ is worth it - the ECM-77B delivers a very natural vocal quality with a slight lift around 5kHz to increase intelligibility and clarity. I have had two of these, both solid performers and reliable. Never tried ether the Trams or DPA, which I have no doubt are excellent performers with their own "sound", but you tend to stick with what you know that works well; and you also learn and understand how to work with what you have. Low noise, high fidelity

This tiny Lav mic is pro level in performance. Sound is clear and does great at keeping the noise floor quiet.

Great little mic for my YouTube Vids

This mic was recommended to me from multiple sources, and I'm very happy with it. I needed a better solution for filming my YouTube Vids. Great work-horse lav

For years the Sony ECM-50 was the standard in the broadcast industry for wired lav mics. Now the ECM-77 brings the same quality to a much smaller mic. Well done Sony.

fairly vintage model as mic's go, but it still works great, perfect for interviews & way cheaper than comparable wireless mic
