I've had two of these so far, and I love how the legs are longer than most monopods. I hardly ever use a tripod for my hundreds of wedding videos I do. But, ... one thing to be aware of with this monopod is that after some use, the screws fall out of the legs. So, best thing to do is replace them with something like lock nuts so that it doesn't happen. I'll attach a pic of what I used from Ace hardware, and it stays put. If you replace them at the beginning, then you won't be caught with it falling apart while filming. Other than that, it's a real workhorse. After hundreds of weddings, I'm about to purchase another one, because the legs are flattening out, thus becoming a little more unstable. Great Base... Works like it should

Absolutely a remarkable Monopod. Very sturdy and durable. Looks are astonishing. Last but not least, can carry a real payload. Totally impressed and highly recommended.

Wax the ball in the base
A nice compact monopole. I took the base apart and waxed the ball with ski wax. This made pans smooth and even.

Mono Pod
Really like this mono pod. It is fatter than I expected at the handle. Haven't used it in the field yet but it seems to be a solid quality piece of equipment.
