If you have experience in the culinary world, myself being a former chef and working with Italian food this book is pretty easy to follow, I think the novice would just have to practice and learn from trial and error to get the recipes just right. This is a great cookbook, the basics of Italian cooking. Old recipes, for the most part easy recipes. This is one cookbook I will never part with.
