Modern Heir-Apparent Hot-Rodded Humbucker Set

I've been using Seymour Duncan's ever popular Hot Rodded Humbucker Set (JBSH-4/JazzSH-2) for a while and have enjoyed the sound of both PUs. However, I've been curious about finding a bridge PU with less output and less midrange so I contacted SD and they suggested their Jason Becker Perpetual Burn. This PU was not on my radar per their EQ chart so I trusted the experts and am soooooo glad I did. Because of the midrange dip and less output I can now use the bridge PU for clean sounds - absolutely beautiful. And with amp and pedal distortion the JBPB is smoother and clearer with great harmonics compared to the JBSH-4 - a truly great bridge PU. IMHO the JBPB/Jazz set is the 'modern' heir-apparent Hot-Rodded Humbucker Set.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
