Helper for my wife

Many people in one way or another will be affected by Alzheimer's. Unfortunately they will never receive some of the instructions that my wife and I have learned in our battling early-onset Alzheimer's. It is rarely brought up that you can slow down the disease by constantly challenging the brain of the person who has Alzheimer's. With early-onset there is usually a much more rapid decline and one may become a vegetable in only 4 or 5 years. My wife has had early-onset Alzheimer's for over 8 years now and she can still drive. She doesn't go far but she still knows how to make the car work. She uses her smart phone every day and also uses her iPad daily. She recently taught herself how to sell on eBay. Something she isn't supposed to be able to do. I felt the Simon game was just another way for her to challenge her brain. I feel the constant challenging and use of her brain is why she is declining gracefully.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great fun

Lightweight with great fixtures

I remember when this game first came out after the movie "Close Encounters of the third kind" and now that it is playing on Cable, the music in the movie still reminded me of this game. Good version of the Simon game. It is more like the original from the 70's than other smaller ones.

Great version of the Simon game. It is more like the original from the 70's than the other smaller versions available at retail stores. My 7 year old grandson had this at the top of his desired gift list for Christmas. He was thrilled with it and played it (when he could get it from his older brothers) until several adults asked him to quit. I've always enjoyed it, and it's a good learning and memory tool. My daughter - who is now 43 - had one when she was little, and she has given them to her older sons (when they were younger) and they eventually wore them out.Vollständige Rezension lesen

the first one I got was defective, no counter and poor lights. I returned it and got another one from a different company. Works great. Like I remember.

Not what it use to be

Cheaply made. It acts up sometimes and no matter how hard you hit the buttons sometimes it doesn't work. Also, the old version had a switch to change levels...not this one...just another cheap plastic toy coming in from ChinaVollständige Rezension lesen

Not as gods as the older ones.

I wish this had buttons like to older ones. You can’t get into the game as well, because you have to concentrate on getting the right place on each color or it won’t work. It just doesn’t seem as sturdy as the one I had as a kid. We were disappointed.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Childhood memories

I bought a 'Simon' for my children when they first came out. I should have purchased two. The fun we have had with it both back then and now with the new one. The ladies at work have held it ransom to ensure I go back to work, how-ever, they have had so much fun with 'Simon' I am starting to wonder if any work got done. I love this product! I'm all about the classic Simon. The newer versions are confusing. This toy really keeps my grandson busy
