I recently purchased this album off ebay, as I totally adored 'I Wish I Was A Punker Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)' It was so individual & something different from all the rubbish Keane, Artic Monkeys, Killers, Zutons, guiter playing band crap, thats in the charts at the moment!
I didn't hold much hope of me loving the rest of her album & when it came it was no big surprise to me, that its only been on my CD player all of twice, all the way through! The rest of her album doesn't sound very individual to me & it is quite bland & boring. It's not particually my type of music. Its sort of hippy, Katie Melua bland music!
But having said that I DO still love 'I Wish I Was A Punker Rocker' & for the price I purchased it at, it is still a bargain, as the original single in the shops would have set me back more!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Excellent CD, every single song it great. One or two songs on CD sound very country and western but I personally found the Sandi Thom CD brilliant, particularly, "I wish I was a punk rocker (with flowers in my hair)" as well as "Lonely girl". Totally recommend CD.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Feel good music-just what you need on a cold winter day

I bought this CD not really knowing what to expect as I had only heard one track (Wish I was a punk rocker)and to be honest usually only got to hear that while in an alcoholic haze! However the rest of the CD is equally as good if not better - I particularly like 'Lonely Girl'. Without wanting to sound like a complete dinaosaur (OK - I am slightly over 25 lol :o) Sandi has a great voice and range for one so young. I look forward to hearing more of her in the future. I wish I was a punk rocker

I bought this for my teenage daughter who has it constanlty playing. The CD is infectious and the " Wish I was a punk rocker" song is a constant choice of converstion amoungst the family as every one on first hearing discusses the fact that punk rockers dont have flowers in their hair. By far my most played album in ages! I bought it solely on the basis of loving "I wish I was a Punk Rocker" but I love the other songs on the album, particularly "the human jukebox" and "what if I'm right" (which I believe will be her next single). All of the songs are very distinctive and reflect her individuality - she is the antidote to manufactured pop, and you can feel her love of the music coming through in her voice. however, some of the songs take a second listen to really grow on you. but they will!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

I love this cd on certain days! It doesnt make me jump up & shout but her words & voice make me hear her. Punk rocker & what if im right are just fab, im glad the inlay has the words its an album you might need to read to try to understand what the heck shes talking about?! LURVE This Album!!! I Heard 'I wish I was a punk rocker' on the radio, and that was it, I went straight onto eBay to buy the album! Such Unique & Original Songs. My Advice definately Buy it!!

Purchased this for one of my children.Had only heard (i wish i was a punk rocker ) and did not like it (and i still don't), but absolutely love (castles), quite like the rest of the CD.
