♡The tablet ive being lusting for didnt let me down♥

I honestly wasn't looking to purchase a tablet for my self. I wanted to replace my son's nabi, and came across this galaxy tab 2. I've wanted one since I fell in love with my galaxy s2. I have owned 3 other brands of tablets, asus, archos, curtis, and its obvious that I haven't had a decent tablet until now(to be fair though the asus was an equal comparison but was incredibly fragile, replacing it 3 times in 8 mouths). It's fast, easy to use, nice layout, and the battery life on this thing is AMAZING. Ive had it for a few days and hve only needed to chrge it 2x I would have had to charge the others 4 times that in the same amout of time. Of course smsung does load it with useless annoying bloatware, but you can easily root and remove, or just disable. My only 2 cons is the touch screen has minut unresponsiveness, which, since i bought it used, could be something the previous had done, and second con is the size. I prefer 10 inch tblets so the 7 inch screen is a little small then id like, but thats not a device flaw, just what i prefer.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Of Course, Needs Updating, But Will Not

This is great if you just want to take pictures, videos, watch movies (off of storage-not internet) and other things NOT using the internet. If you use the internet, you will NOT be able to "actually" connect to a website often times. The only "video" website I was able to get into was YouTube and it doesn't do like it is suppose to. When I say you will not be able to connect to some websites, I mean just about any "type" of website. You will be able to access the internet, but if you type something like "EBay" it will list EBay links, but once you click on a link, you will not be able to enter at times. The Tab will say "Couldn't Establish A Secure Connection." If you are successful at opening the link, you will have "limited" information shown on the screen "at times, not ALL of the time, depends on the site" (not all text, pictures and videos will appear). Amazon opened for me, but was funky looking (limited items displayed on screen). You will not be able to update your internet browser because the Tab's main software is outdated. The Tab's Software will no longer update to a newer version. You will have to do your own research on how to update the Samsung Galaxy Tab's main software OR take it to a computer store. Once updated, it should be the bomb (if it can even update)! I plan on taking it to a computer store, but it will depend on the cost (price) to see if it is even worth updating. I got my Tab around $40 or so, a great price. I couldn't connect to Tubitv, PBS, ABC and other video websites. Couldn't connect to "some" simple links like "Health benefits of cabbage" where a video isn't even needed, just text. When I clicked on a link it stated "There Was A Network Error." I clicked on another website's link and it opened up just fine. So in closing, using the internet will be hit and miss using this Tab's old-outdated software and other applications internet and non-internet related may not be able to update on an outdated Android Version. If you buy this Galaxy Tab, make sure the price is cheap. ***IMPORTANT*** Make sure a connecting/charging cable is included with a battery when you purchase (takes a "special" cable you just can't buy anywhere). If you just want to use it as a video player, music player, camera and other basic uses (using Tab's storage or SD Card), this would be great if you get it at a cheap. Samsung tablet a good value for the money,but lacks some refinment.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is a good buy for those on a budget. Loaded with features that one can expect for higher-priced models the unit performs smoothly and with vigor. The monitor is high-quality, but doesn't have the highest resolution as found on other units. The built-in memory amounts to only about four gigabytes of storage when one factors in that four GBs are dedicated to running the Android 4 operating system. However the issue of low storage is partly resolved since the unit accepts up to 32GB storage on an optional micro SD card.Although the additional storage via micro SD card is much appreciated, only certain items can be stored, i.e. movies, music, and pictures. Downloaded apps won't run from the installed card, but only through the tablet's internal memory, cutting down useable storage space. There is a large selection of apps available, but although good, msny don't compare to the refinement and number of apps available for the Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The dual cameras are acceptable, but definately not high definition. Overall the Samsung product is a good value for the money, but leaves a bit more to be desired.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Useful daily carry

I have found that the Tab 2 7.0 P-3113 is a useful daily carry device. I rooted and upgraded the Android OS from 4.2.2 to 6.0 and then added a 32 GB microSD card. The upgrade process was rather easy after researching the processes involved. Boosting the onboard storage from 8 GB to 40 GB with the microSd card makes the tablet very useful. I carry it primarily for taking notes and as a navigation aid (GPS) using Sygic offline navigation.
Having the Belkin BT keyboard just makes the device even more useful when you don't want to use the touch screen typing feature.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Very low quality

You get what you pay for. I often take risks with deals like this. Some pay off and others like this don't. Processor speed is similar to the old dial up internet if you get it to work. Mine quit taking a charge either after one time use or it may not have from the beginning. I told the company and they wouldn't even respond. Luckily it was a cheap lesson learned.

Update 1-2-22, the tablet still hasn't functioned properly since I got it. I've got it to turn on at least after paying much more money in high quality chargers then this is worth just to find out that you can't click on anything without it needing a day and a half to load and then crashing. Keypad port

I had a Samsung tablet and I loved it until it was stolen. I bought this one and was able to connect to everything I had on the last one. It was also a GT-P113 8gb android . The only thing I was not aware of is that there is no USB keyboard port. Next time I will spend a little more and get one that does. For now, I will just have to stick to my stylis. Galaxy Tablet 2 is more than just an AWESOME Tablet, tons of fun as well.

I have had my Samsung Galaxy Tablet 2 for a couple of months now. And I absolutely just love it. It has really good battery life per charge, it's pretty much endless of all the things that you can do and enjoy on it. videos play really nice on it. Love being able to also watch tv shows as well on it. Love the fact that if I miss a show I can usually watch it on my tablet even after that was aired already. Love all the free apps. I also use it as an e-reader. Even my books come in chrystal clear. And it also functions just like my Nook Color. Can change font sizes and all. This also fits nice in my purse to take anywhere I want.No more being bored waiting for appointments. Everything comes up so fast on it. Be4 I had bought this tablet I had bought a cheaper tablet thinking I would save some money. What a huge mistake that was! I never could use the cheaper tablet anytime I wanted for the battery was always dead in it. That was so frustrating when I wanted to use that tablet and never failed, battery was always dead. My Galaxy tablet 2 has never disappointed me yet. Every time I wanted to use it I've never have had any battery issues whatsoever. Very happy that I purchased the Galaxy tablet 2.It s a type of tablet that you will never run out of interesting things that you can do on it. And really nice to have everything right at your finger tips. Right on down to the tv. remote. It just doesn t get much better than this. I highly recommend this tablet to everyone. Excellent tablet, horrible cameras. 8 out of 10!!!!!

On a scale from 1-10 I would give the Galaxy Tab 2 an 8. It's fast and is really easy to use, anyone could just pick it up and be a relative expert in minutes. I like that it has a front and back cameras, but the cameras SUCK, you cannot run an app like a barcode scanner, because the camera isn't good enough to focus on the barcodes. The camera thing is the only bad thing about the Galaxy Tab 2 as far as I can tell, but I don't use it for business or anything, I just use it to listen to music, watch movies, and play app-games. Good, but lacks strong wifi support

Very good, maybe not better than an ipad, but passes with good flying colors.
It is not adobe flash supported, some videos, aps, I cannot watch nor play.
The wifi comes and goes, while my laptop is perfected for streaming the internet, while wireless surfing. I am not trying to compare it to each other, but the tablet always has issues with it, stating that the wireless modem is outta range, when I am actually sitting beside it, never had problems with it when I use my ipod touch.
But a good tablet, would recommend if you dont want to pay $330 and up for a apple tablet. But you also gotta carrry onwith its minor little flaws.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Camera ( take worst pictures ever)...one star for that
needs a dedicated cable for charging ( not a mini usb)
initial memory shows 4.6gb instead of 8gb
