Sailor Dog has inspired me since I first turned the pages of this book as a child. Before I could read the illustrations found in these pages led me through the adventures of Scupper, the sea dog. A fine children's story.

This was the first book that I read front to back in one sitting. I am now 71 years old, and I cherish the opportunity to read it again.
