Perfect replacement for original
I purchased and installed this blower wheel about 3 months ago. The hub had broken out on the original wheel. Installation was straightforward and rather easy. Easy DIY Fan Replacement
This blower fan appears to be of excellent quality. I certainly hope this blower fan is much better than the last one (an OEM Maytag part), which lasted less than a year. In any case, I now have two spares and it’s an easy job. Fan replacement also gives you an opportunity to clean out lint buildup, which needs occasional inspection for your safety. Item appears slightly less perfect then the originals, or EOM, but works fine.
A real credible review on this item would have to written at minimum one year after its first use, so as to include a judgment on its durability. Since eBay gives such a short time to write a review, I'm writing it now. Keep in mind though, that I've been using this item for a short time only - about one month. Received and installed this product and I found it to be sturdy and of high quality. Made of the same hard plastic as the original OEM part, it fit perfectly and works flawlessly. Easy to install.
