Great quality chain ideal for 2 x 11 speed CX bikes

I put one of these excellent chains on every 1000 miles or so. This is the 5th chain on the bike, which is still running the original sprockets. I am guessing I would have had to replace the cassette (11 speed Ultegra) if I had not spent out for these 5 chains. THIS CHAIN NO GOOD FOR ELECTRIC BIKES

This chain might well be fine for ordinary mountain bikes and it maybe may naivety but for an electric mountain bike of 11 speed this chain lasted 2 weeks … failed on me, snapped and even reducing the chain by taking links out didn't help - the chain kept failing all day ….. I might have been just unlucky but the 1110 will not be a chain im buying again ...bought the 1130 which is supposed to be more robust ….. Brilliant value for money.

Bearing in mind that many retailers and bike shops want to charge over £30 for this it really is super value. I'm pretty poor at d.i.y. but even I fitted it in only a couple of minutes. Brilliant !

Good for the price.

Good chain at the best price I can find . I do a lot of winter riding and go through a chain per month so ned to use good value products.

Does the job

For the price this is an excellent product. It may not last as long as some much more expensive chains but it you regulaly check your chain stretch and replace the chain when appropriate it seems to be a cost effective way of keeping your drive train working well.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

I had to remove one link to make it fit my gear set (a shimano shimano M8000 XT 11 speed with 11-40 rear cassette & a twin 24-38 front chain rings.

The chain fits perfectly & the shifting is better than it’s ever been from new. smooth, slick, almost silent. Can’t comment as to the longevity yet but first impressions are very good indeed!

Basic chain but good value

You could spend £30-40 more to save a few grams but that's a waste of money on a consumable item.
