Works great
Arrived on time as advertised. I use this regularly on snaking out shower and vanity sinks.Works great on removing hair. I would advise running snake cable through short section of 3/4" PVC pipe between drain hole and machine to prevent cable from twisting up when you can't get machine close to drain opening. Auger is easy to operate with controllable thrust. Gets the job done with a 25 foot "snake".
I just today used it to clear the bathroom on our main floor. I had to get the clog from the basement. Worked like a charm. Easy to use with nice thrust forward and backward that's easy to control. Saved myself about $175 in plumber's charge. A little while back our daughter down the street had a bathtub that had a slow drain. Our son in law called in a plumber who charged them $250. Unfortunately, I didn't own the auger when they had their problem. The incident however, inspired me to purchase this one. Price difference.
I just received this item so I can not rate it. Giving 4 for rating to get this going but not really true.
Bought this at $300.00 CAD to find out that in my own area Montreal, Quebec, Canada the price is $165.00 CAD + taxes Home Depot & no waiting for it. Ridiculous, I should of look here 1rst in Montreal.
I'm finding out, a good # of items in internet is more expensive then the same item in Montreal.
For my part, I will always, in the future, look here before looking in internet.
Internet buying is going away. Peoples will find out as I did & buying from Internet will disappear with time.
I'm putting this in facebook & will get peoples to get it to go around.

Ryobi 4002 Hybrid Model.
Has a nice interchangeable auger bit system compared to the plain model . I had to order my bits from the USA before being able to use the tool .

Easy to use and lightweight

Value + Quality
I was surprised that the tool performed better and more powerful than the Milwaukee toddler that I recently used for half the price.

Auger to Save $$$ and Waiting
The auger seems to be what I need to loosen grease that slows down the kitchen drain at times. The augers looks and feels like it is sturdy and will hopefully save the cost ($200-$400) of a plumber and waiting for days.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Save a plumbing bill!!
Great tool. Lots of power, with kink-free cable. Interchangeable tips are a great option over the base Ryobi auger. The only improvement I would suggest is to mark the last foot of cable with a color or ring so the operator can tell when cable is fully extendedVollständige Rezension lesen
