Don't know why the different color of the Type 2 Phaser other then law enforcement concerns about shooting a kid that's pointing this at them. Brought this phaser, because of it being of a different color. Also like the fact that there is no battery enclosed so I won't have to open the package to have to remove them, since batteries will corrode over time and ruin electronics.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Very good value if purchased for around $11.

For the money, the shape and proportions are pretty good. The colors are strange so I repainted mine with TOS colors and it looks a s good as my Diamond select. The phaser 1 is non-detachable and it only has sound.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

For the target market, it's spot-on: Great to modify!

If you want a cheap Phaser to paint or modify, this is for you: It's an OK value at 10-12 bucks, but any more is pushing it. Sound is very hard to hear. Don't expect a decent Phaser for this money, it's for cosplay or kids. Most all neg. reviews I've seen are from folks who expected too much. Great for Cosplay!

I wanted an inexpensive prop for Cosplay. I totally repainted the item and it turned out perfect. If you are looking for a great, light weight phaser for a prop, this is a good buy.
