Fits and works perfectly! Engine runs like NEW!
This gasket assembly fixes two common problems with the B&S engine of hard starting and surging if you do manage to get it running.
The gasket appears to be excellent quality and was made in USA.

Briggs & Straton Lawn Mower Carburetor Diaphragm
If your having trouble starting your old Briggs & Straton lawn mower. This may take care of the problem. Remove the carburetor and clean if thoroughly. Then install this new diaphragm and gasket. This quality kit was made in USA. It fit perfectly & is of good quality. The rubber is thick and pliable. The gasket is also quite thick. It should last quite a long time. PS: Shipping was instant!

Just what I needed!
After I installed it, there was a gas leak. Also the engine was surging. I finally saw that the plastic portion of my carburetor had warped, and would no longer make a good seal against the tank. I was able to install my old gasket along with the new gasket, and diaphragm to stop the leak. Now it runs great!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Cheap Fix
So easy to install yourself. Just remember where the linkage goes. Such simple fix that can save you money. Machine running rough ? This gasket is most likely the problem.

Picked the correct part for my application and this was it.
Mower would not stay running. After searching, replacing the gasket was the most recommended "fix". Unfortunately, this part did not fix the problem. the old one was in bad shape and it did run better after installing the new gasket, but not better enough to call it fixed.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great for the DIY lawn equipment repairer
