Great DVD transfer, awesome quality & price
I discovered this movie not that long ago and immediately became obsessed. I needed to hunt down a physical copy of it. Knowing it's complex history, I knew it would be difficult. Fortunately I found this version and at a great price. The quality looks great. I watched it on a large screen and noticed maybe a few flaws (picture wise, not in the sound) but that was it. The DVD starts playing the movie immediately (almost like a VHS) this is just a bare bones copy, no menu, no features (not that I care about that, I just wanted a copy of the movie).
The film itself isn't that great plot or character development wise. The soundtrack and experimental animation is what draws you in.Vollständige Rezension lesen

loved since I was a teenager
I used to watch this movie every chance I got as a teenager. I cold only find it on VHS till now.
It is heavy metal like the old days. No need for mind altering substances, this movie is just crazy enough on its own.

A classic "grown up" animated movie.
Many are aware of the "not for kids" animated movie, Heavy Metal. But there are several others that are also great. This is one of them. Add it to you're collection!

Last time I saw this movie was in theater..nice to see it on DVD..watched it at home already, it was awesome..

Old school clasis
I enjoyed this as a. Hold and my kids enjoyed as children! Now they are adults and to watch with them again and the quality was actually great!
