Not in my wildest dreams . . wonderful !
Not in my wildest dreams did I ever expect a new Gerry Rafferty studio album - wonderful !
Many thanks to Martha Rafferty who produced this album, and I am delighted that the album has immediately entered the charts.
The album has some older recordings, and some new recordings which Gerry Rafferty had been working on just prior to his premature death in 2011.
In the accompanying booklet, Martha Rafferty writes - ' It's been ten years since my father died and eighteen years since he last released any new music. He had been working on this new album on and off since 2006 . . .'
It's a great album and a fitting tribute to this much underrated Scottish singer / songwriter.
Every Gerry Rafferty fan - and there are so many ! - will be delighted with this album, and hopefully it will introduce others to the music of Gerry Rafferty.
Another great Gerry Rafferty album.

Great tribute from Gerry Rafferty's daughter
Just listening to Rest in Blue. An excellent job by Gerry's daughter Martha to her dad. A fitting tribute to the man and much appreciated by his fans. I was pleased to see Stuck in the Middle With You on the album. The first of his tracks I remember and told of his dysfunctional relationship with the music industry that contributed to his demise. I was working in a clothes shop when it came out and an A&R man who was a mate of the manager gave us an Eight Track! of it that we played to death.

Gerry Rafferty Rest In Blue CD.
Wonderful to be able to listen to some previously unheard songs by this brilliant artist + unexpected bonus track. I could listen to this CD for hours and hours and hours.
