Latest and greatest Pi
The latest and greatest Pi; the CPU does get hot under load so I have fitted a heat sink/case.
As of Sep 2020, the latest firmware supports USB booting, which opens up significant performance improvements for disk i/o over SD cards. My choice : Plubale USB/NVMe adapter.

Amazing value computer
Paired it with a Flirc case (from CPC) and now have super impressive dual-monitor work-from-home solution for remoting into my day job. Many projects for the pi & all documented
My second pi4 & in use as a web server. Need to add a heatsink case or similar especially needed for summer temperatures. Using a fast uSD card is recommended. I loaded the beta 64 bit OS & can't fault it. Get one, they are good to pass the time in winterVollständige Rezension lesen

Superb single board computer with oodles of support..
I got my first pi back when they were released, and I got a 1gb pi 4 when they were released, but 1bg just is not enough to be honest.
The new 4gb raspberry Pi 4 is way better, still not a desktop replacement but its getting close.
My 1bg Pi 4 is now dedicated to running octopi server for my 3d printer while i can carry on tinkering with the 4gb one, happy days :DVollständige Rezension lesen

Ras Pi
Excellent product. A PC the size of a credit card. Best to set up by connecting to a monitor and referring to on screen instructions after having downloaded the Ras Pi os on micro SD card. My experience
The pi 4 took very little time to set up and performs as expected. I had a problem with the micro hdmi when I put it into a case. It wouldn’t go in far enough in order to make a secure connection.

Excellent Project
All raspberry pi's are excellent products. Pi4 with all its additional connectivity is really good. 2 micro HDMI ports plus dual band wifi and all of the i/o pins mean this is a product just waiting for the next excellent project.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great fun, more power

If you know what this is then you already know how good it is. If you don't, then it's a stripped down computer that runs Linux instead of Windows.
Because it shows what can be done with a small amount of technology. The build quality is excellent, and the potential you get back goes far beyond the mere £50 or so that you pay for it.

Just the ticket
These are not the most powerful machines in the world but then that was never meant to be their niche. Their USP is that they are small board computers that have endless niche project possibilities.
