Works perfect after activation glitch.
Had one glitch in the setup. The unit has old firmware on it and would not support iPhone 11 or newer to activate the unit. I went online and found that if you use an older device (I used an older IPad, the device will activate an automatically update the firmware. Then my new IPhone 11 worked with it.

Best Sprinkler on the Market
This does everything for you . Simply plug it in, set it up, and sit back at let it do its thing.
It takes about an hour to set up your zones,
take pictures, and decide how you want it set up , but after that, it’s smooth sailing.
Upgraded from Rachio ver. 1 to ver 3.
No more “blinking up”. That was difficult.
Now you just hold in the wi- fi button.

Extremely easy to install and hands off totally. It sets itself and skips when the weather is raining etc. Technology at its best.

Great upgrade to 20 year old sprinkler timer!
So great that now I do not have to run down to the basement to turn off the mechanical timer when it is raining to stop the sprinklers from running! Also control via the app is awesome. It even looks cool. Plus, the recycle feature saved me a lot of hassle in disposing of the old timer! A little rough setting up with a Samsung phone but since then it has rained and I got an email that it skipped that watering twice. saving 2000 gal of water.

Does exactly what it is supposed to
Easy to set up, easy to use app and it is a set and forget smart sprinkler. No issues so far, just wish it had the option to add a soil moisture sensor to complete the smart functionality.
