ultrawide, well built, fast fantastic

great ultrawide angle lens! put it on a focal reducer to really get the full focal length if on an apsc.

Good Lens For Landscape Photography -- Needs Patience to Use and Maintain

This lens is very good for landscape photography, pictures are really sharp. This lens is not for architectural photography, since it has too much barrel distrotion. Focusing takes some good effort. Focusing with live view mode, magnified and wide open helps; and all of these are manual that can take some time to getting used to. Since this lens does not take any front filter, keeping the lens front glass element clean and cleaning it after photo shoot, especially in moist/wet environment (water fall, creek....), can be difficult.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Takes some time to hit the focus wide open but great pictures. Just the right amount of wide angle distortion on a crop sensor

Awesome 14mm is W-I-D-E...be careful with focus but you can't beat it for the price if you want to go wide. If you're shooting in a lot of tight spaces this will be your go to.

Phenomenal deal

Picked it up for $285 and it has been and will be an integral part of my gear. I use a tamron 24-70 f2.8 and this 14mm lens is a perfect compliment on the short end. Sharp, good colors, have not ran into any chromatic aberration at all, not quite short enough to fish-eye but still quite wide. Numbers on the focus ring aren't accurate but you soon find where things actually are. You get used to the manual lens quite fast. 8/10 excellent lens that I would consider a must for any photographer. Would be 10/10 if model came with ISVollständige Rezension lesen...

Good, if you get a good copy.

The Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 is the same all-manual 14mm f/2.8 sold as a Samyang or a Bower. If you get a good copy, it's a decent lens ... it's cheap, it's decently sharp, and it controls coma better than far more expensive lenses. The problem lies in the quality control. A common problem is a misaligned focus ring, where the marks do not line up with whatever distance the lens is actually focused at. Other problems include decentering and tilted elements. great nature ultra wide lens

a wonderful ultra wide lens for my full frame canon 5Dmk2, great sharpness and contrast in the center and decent quality in the corners, best stopped down to f/5.6 - f/8.
