Good value

Questionable condition. All the DVDs are great except the first one which has a scratch on it. The price paid I did expect a few knocks but maybe it should have been reflected in the 'condition' section.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

DVD only works on UK DVD players

I'm sure it's a great DVD..but it came from the UK and I didn't realize that the USA and the UK have different DVD's. So..I had to buy a new DVD player just to get it to work.

Where it all began.

I loved watching Quantum leap when it used to be on BBC2. It was one of the only programmes I just had to watch each week.

You don't need to be a Sci-Fi fanatic to enjoy Quantum leap. The episodes look at real life problems, drama and some romance.

In this series we find out how it all began. Sam Beckett discovers that he can leap about in time. He can't remember anything about the Quantum Leap experiment. All he knows is that each leap puts him in the body of a different person. He has to figure out what his role is in their lives. Al, an observer from his own time, helps Sam to discover what wrong he needs to right in someone's life before he can leap again.

Quantum Leap Series 1

Quantum Leap was first made in the late 80's, however it has aged well. I had never seen the first episodes so it was great to see how our time traveller Sam first started leaping into other peoples lives. Al is fantastic as the hologram who helps him in his adventures. It is a fantastic piece of work, sci-fi, romance, comedy, drama all combined and great to see what life must have been like for people in days gone by. The ending of each programme shows Sam jumping into somebody else's body and therefore it is a cliffhanger towards the next episode. Brilliant series...Vollständige Rezension lesen...
