ProForm 66782 Engine Builder Rotation Adapter Tool

Loved it

Easy to use and seems to be well made. Big hex nuts need big tools to use, soft metal will not hold up for long, this is a good deal for a number of reasons. You can use a 1/2 inch breaker bar or a 1 inch socket to turn it. The claim is it's made of stainless steel. Cost is reasonable. Cast aluminum waiting to fail

Got this to rotate the crankshaft of a marine engine pre-season. Cast aluminum, fits the crank pulley but did not last. To be fair, the engine was not turning over freely, but I expected the tool to take some torque rather than snap as soon as some leverage was applied. Two legs snapped off. Takes a 1/2" ratchet but not the torque from a 1/2" ratchet. I would recommend this for a disassembed engine, or one with all plugs out, but not for much more than that.Vollständige Rezension lesen

The tool came as described. The tool fit perfectly onto the engine. Overall good quality product would definitely recommend.

Very useful for marine engines

I had to buy longer bolts to attach it to the harmonic balancer, but once installed, it rotated the crank shaft with ease.

Awesome Adapter

Very Nice . Heavy duty forged aluminum, not SS. Works perfect inside my aluminum crank pulley on my SBC. Use 1 inch socket not 1/2 inch breaker bar or you could possibly break it. Thanks

it's a good idea. Needs to be stronger.

it works as long as you don't put to much pressure on it. The one I purchased broke.
