Amazing show

Prison break was one of the best shows on tv & gets 5 Stars from me. Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows Aka Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell Are amazing in this series. It's about a brother Michael Scofield (played by Wentworth Miller) trying to save & rescue his brother Lincoln Burrows ( Played by Dominic Purcell) who is in prison being falsely accused of a crime he did not do & Michael gets arrested on purpose so he can be in the same prison as his brother to break him & his brother out of prison. All 4 Seasons are great & it's exciting that Prison Break is coming back to tv & the new season & will air sometime during the 2016-2017 season. The original series went 4 seasons from 2005-2009 & after 7 years it's coming back with between 8-10 Episodes & they are calling it season 5 so it will be part of the series & not just a mini series. They just did the same thing with The X Files. If you haven't seen prison break then you are missing out. Also it's great to see Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell back working together on the CW Show "The Flash" & now that launched a spinoff on the CW called "Legends Of Tomorrow" which is a fantastic show. On Legends Of Tomorrow Dominic Purcell Plays "Mick Rory/Heat Wave" & Wentworth Miller Plays "Captain Cold" Also Both Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are best friends in real life & it shows in Prison Break. They were the best man at each other's weddings in real life. On a side note watch the entire series of Prison Break & also if you like superheroes then I also HIGHLY RECOMMENDED "Arrow", "Flash", "Legends Of Tomorrow" which all 3 are on The CW & also on ABC watch "Marvels Agent Carter" & "Marvels Agents Of Shield" they're all excellent shows as well & the cool thing about "Marvels Agents Of Shield" is that it is entwined with the movies "Iron Man", "Captain America", "Thor" & "The Avengers" Movies.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Just as exciting as season 1

I know the opinions about season 2 will be more mixed than season 1, but I personally believe that season 2 is just as exciting as 1. The only difference is that there's a change of scenery and a focus on some different characters. But I still find Prison Break to be one of the best shows on tv right now and just as compelling and heart-pounding as ever! Prison Break still manages to be intriguing, simple enough to follow, with great characters people really care about. In particular, Paul Adelstein (who plays Agent Kellerman) does a really fabulous job this season, whereas last season he was more of a minor character. And unlike Lost, this show actually manages to answer questions and move the plot along. This season has also held steady in the ratings unlike some other shows, which must mean that it's doing something right. As always, the biggest weakness is that it's as ludicrous as it was first season, but this is fiction. If I wanted reality, I'd watch a documentary. And I don't think it's really any more unrealistic than any other action drama on tv today. Prison Break (Season 2)...Takes chances and succeeds!

If you are a fan of prison stories, action movies, or just compelling TV drama, then this is the right choice for you: Prison Break, Season 2. If you watched the first season of this show on TV or DVD, then you know where it left off (and if you haven't, you need to - the first season would rank as one of the top five drama seasons in TV history!).

Micheal Scofield (Wentworth Miller) has successfully broken his brother out of a Illinois prison and is on the run, along with a few of his favorite inmates to tag along. Enter Agent Alexander Mahone (William Fichtner), a rogue intellectual who keeps pace with the boy wonder genius Scofield, move after move, and vows to take down every single escapee. Also chasing the fugitive crew is Captain Brad Bellick (Wade Williams) who doesn't let his unceremonious release from Fox River stop him from keeping tabs on his previous prisoners and his pursuit of the hidden money that they are all searching for. Midway through, look for the character Bill Kim to add a bit more spice to the twisted, corrupt mix of goverment/secret service/outside interests and the effect they are having on the search for the escaped convicts.

Initially, the first few episodes plod along a bit slowly in comparison to the ending ones of season one. Don't be deceived, because things are going to rip loose rather quickly. Season 2 starts gaining momentum, and as the writers gain more confidence with the new setting and plot lines, they start taking a lot of chances. Most of them pan out. You will enjoy many of the developments of this season, and even laugh out loud as you watch. Who could resist T-Bag (Robert Knepper) as he speeds down the freeway to the song, "Roll On Big Mamma," or the subtle comedy of Agent Paul Kellerman (Paul Adelstein) as he pretends to join a recovery group and eat blueberry pies? The bold choices by the writing team seem to work and further enrich characters who already had a lot of depth and shading, and perhaps even top themselves as they create inventive plots that might even dwarf those laid down in the first season, which won an award for Best New Drama.

Bottomline: Season 2 finds a way to keep an ongoing storyline of prisoners on the run fresh and creative. The characters, for the most part, grow in a compelling fashion, and the addition of Agent Mahone is what drives this season to new heights. GREAT SHOW!!!!

I couldn't wait for this second season to be released on dvd. I had missed the entire season because of work. I'm so happy that I got to continue this season as the new season just started, it's a great show that keeps you tuned. Some parts fool you into thinking whats going to happen but then they change the characters story making you think it was something else. You'd understand what I'm saying as you'll watch it. It's a mini suspense show in my opinion because you can see some of things coming. It's a great show, thats different and gives you an idealistic life of a escape convict. I can't wait for season 3. Engrossing with real life potential.

Product in excellent (like new) shape. Storyline glues you to the screen. You don't want to get up until all the episodes are seen. It's like the actors actually lived the roles they're playing. Makes you appreciate justice and freedom.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

By far, one of the best series. Unlike any thing else.

Of course, season 2 has to be seen after the great success of season one. I would highly recommend that you get the surround sound right before starting. Action setting was not perfectly right for this sort of movies. I enjoyed the musical setting as it highlights the musical efforts of the backgrounds effects.

Need to see each episode more than once before going to the next. Personally; my average was twice on each episode.

Break Out Genius

Prison Break *****

I love this series on Fox. Prison Break is the only show that I watch during the week on network TV. The series takes you through the world of what it might be like to be imprisoned unjustly. Breaking out was just the easy part for these fugitives. They are running for their lives and others have been imprisoned again. Just to be told that family members and, the one they one will be killed if they do not break out again and this time take another man with them. The Company controls their lives.
