A great and provocative early 1970's crime thriller

Great early-1970's crime thriller directed with tongue firmly in-cheek by the very under-rated Michael Ritchie. Marvin and Hackman are terrific. A very provocative film - not the sort of film that the Hollywood studios (or anyone else for that matter) would go anywhere near nowadays. How times have changed!

This is the Region B Blu-Ray edition from Switzerland's Explosive Media and licensed from CBS. It's a great A/V presentation - clear, very sharp in 2.35:1 aspect ratio Panavision. Beautiful and dynamic widescreen compositions. Audio is PCM 2.0 English and German. I had no complaints about the sound - great Lalo Schifrin score.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
