Fun to watch

such a fun movie - love the costumes. and the disc only format is ideal. Maybe not the purists Jane Austin - but a treat in its own way.

DVD is a dream come true

I had the original VHS tape and loved it. When VHS recorders/players were phased out, I could not watch this oldie but goodie any longer. Then, I saw it was available on DVD and purchased it immediately. My only regret was that it was not remastered like some of the other old movies,but I realize that it probably would not have been cost effective to remaster it. Good story with great dialogue

This is a very old film and as such is not up to today's high standards. Nevertheless, it is very engaging and entertaining.

Lovely story, characters, and filmed wonderfully. Acting at its best! A classic that I can watch over and over again.
