Very happy with President Ronald radio. Conversion for CB frequencies is easy. Just add 1000k ohm resistor. This is a set it and forget it radio which is great for mobile use so you don’t get distracted while driving. There is no digital replacement for analog elegance and ease of operation.
I thought this version of radio might be almost as easy and fun and as satisfying to use as prior analog radios.
No, it’s not . It is digital shortcuts all the way.
Key deficiencies: No analog Signal

Awkward nonintuitive operation.
Overloaded controls.
Better off buying older style radios.
This one is up for sale .
Ease of use is absolutely a key feature that I look for.

Great Radio! Plug and play with exceptional Qlty!!
I haven’t fully tested it but the set up was plug and play and the power is exceptional. Talk back on the radio speaker isn’t that great but I’m going to hook up and external anyway so doesn’t matter. Great value for the price and well set up!! Thank you!!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

After the minor learning curve I love the radio. With no dials inside for a radio shop to screw up and learning how to set it up it talks great and I get great reports on it. Definitely a great buy. Mic audio ehh, even a power mic is ehh due to internal limits but it works and gets it done for what I need it for and priced reasonable, rest of the radio is exceptional imo
