The hook up socket on my 2005 campervan needed replacing. I found this one on eBay at a reasonable price and I was very pleased to see that it was of very good quality with plenty of security features. The fact that it fitted perfectly was a bonus. Easy to mark out for hole cutting and plenty of edge and foam to for space to use an additional flexible sealant to ensure a more weather type joint.

Campervan hookup

Bought this for our campervan conversion. Easy to fit - the hardest part was cutting the hole in the side of the van. No issues with it, reasonably priced, works fine.

Good replacement for damaged or old fittings.

Good product, easy to fit....this hookup socket looks well made and the spring shut flap keeps the flap closed but as an added bonus the flap clicks when pressed to secure the flap and to stop water Ingres. These facts are very important for any electrical fitting that is used in a rainy environment.

Easy to fit and great value, Electrifyingly Good!

I bought this as a replacement for my broken one, It was very ease to fit and very robust sturdy design rugged hard wearing and great value. Easy fit Connector - A+++

Needed a new one as old was loose and Arced causing burning.
Easy to fit in 10 mins
Also lovely new white cover as old one was yellow sun faded.

Quality mains hook-up socket

This is the same socket as fitted to my Ace Capri( Swift group), it took me 5 minutes to swap because it's identical to the original fitted to my van which was looking very shabby with age. A great uplift to the appearance of my van. Water filler next!!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Unfit for purpose

This item is rated as IP44. As such it is not suitable for external use in the rain! Slight rain shower the other day and the internal electrical connections were dripping in water. Unfit for purpose!!
