FUN FAMILY MOVIE

Fun movie that brings the Popeye characters to life . Great sets , excellent casting and a good storyline . Gives a satisfying explanation as to where Sweet Pea came from . The one disappointment is the portrayal of Bluto as just a sulking ill tempered meany instead of the outspoken braggadocious prankster of the classic Popeye cartoons . Popeye and Poop Deck Pappy Awsome!

Robin Williams best yet and Shelly Devall is great! Better than when she did the Shining but she was great in that movie also.

Live Action Cartoon

I loved Popeye as a kid, I loved Robin Williams, and this live action cartoon is brilliant. The location is incredible, (I mean, Malta....are you kiddin'?) and the supporting cast is on point.
