Keep tying up simple!
These line straps lasts a few years holding 20' of 1/2" nylon. Holds well on the water or when the boat is on the trailer at 40 mph. Care must be taken to ensure that the twist lock is in the secured position when you are ready to get underway or it will work itself loose. Been using these or similar ones over 15 years.
