Police Story: Season One (DVD, 1973)

Excellent realistic police drama

The first season of this 1970s police series starts of literally with a bang - a very gritty believable unmarked car stakeout with Vic Morrow as the lead detective. Each show changes the police officers to give different actors a turn, although some like Morrow are repeaters. Very well acted view of police life & attitudes of the 70s, some racial insults but since both white & black cops jest equally & mostly good naturedly it is tolerable as being "of the times." Very nice DVD's enjoyed all the shows. You can tell it was shot in LA.

Awesome stories! Love it!

I have always enjoyed watching Police Stoty when it was on TV. They are GREAT stories! Well written, some by Joseph Wambagh (who was also one of the creators )!
They are very realistic and still relavent today. Love It!

Police Story

It is as I remembered it. Still relevant and relatable police episodes just as today. I see a lot of very young actors that are now much older.

Good program.

These were filmed in 1972, and the characters reflect attitudes of the time. Acting is good, but dialog can be offensive.

First Disc Missing

Open the package first disc was missing. Not happy.
My apologies, it was hidden under the Papa ER cover. Really enjoying the shows.

Great Police Program

Hollywood does not make great shows like this anymore, so I am very pleased that I can watch this fine program on DVD.
