Amazing game, extremely special and different from the normal pokemon games.

At first you get a little personality quiz to see which pokemon type you're most similar to, then you have to choose another pokemon so it can be your partner through out the entire game. The story is just marvelous, I got really attached to it. At first I was confused, but then after you start completing missions the story progresses. You can actually play as all the pokemon who join your team! It's an amazing game, I highly recommend it. Now don't get tired wandering through all those dungeon floors! Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team (Game Boy Adva

I found this to be an excellent game that once again provided many many hours of entertainment whether it be in the car or simply at home; basically, very useful for burning some extra time.
In this game, you begin by taking a quiz about you e.g. Homework habits, Personal behavior, etc. After completing this quiz of sorts, the game applies you to a Pokemon that is most like you; such as Charmander, Bulbasaur, etc. Once you have your Pokemon chosen, you then embark on missions to save 'Pokemons in distress' and get paid for doing so! Then, with Pikachu, you create a Rescue Team in which you name!
Altogether, just like every other Pokemon game that has been released, I would highly recommend this game for anyone of any age! It is very fun and easy to catch onto! Also, this game will not lose its value anytime soon, so if you feel as if this game isn't for you, you can resell it again pretty easily and get your money back!

Great game with good writing and character development

Modern pokemon games do their best to try and tell a story, but they don't come close to the story of the original mystery dungeon game. This game has good gameplay, compelling story and it was cheap!

A New Experience

I've just gotten a new Game Boy (after I lost my old one). I could remember that with my old one, my favorite game had been a Pokemon game. We got this game not knowing exactly what it was, but I knew that it would be lots of fun. I started playing it Friday night, and I fell asleep on the couch with it still in my hands, and woke up the next morning and found it on the ground next to the couch. The thing that makes this game so different is that it's based off of the new series of Pokemon, where one boy mysteriously turns into a Pokemon, finds some other pokemon, which befriend him, and becomes part of a rescue team, helping other pokemon in trouble.
This is like no other Pokemon game that I've ever played. At the beginning, you have to answer a lot of questions about you personality. Make sure you answer truthfully! The outcome decides what pokemon you will be turned into. Then you get to choose a new pokemon to be your partner.
You then meet your new partner, you tell it your name, and you find out that you have been mysteriously turned into a pokemon! Then you hear a scream, and a pokemon comes up to you and asks for your help. You help, and then you and your partner decide to form a rescue team to help pokemon that have gotten into trouble and need your help! You get some rest, and the next day, you start your first adventure and then go on many adventures. This game is really interesting and really new for me.
Another thing that I found different was that it gives you a chance to save the game after every adventure. This way, there isn't much of a chance that you will lose any memory. I've lost memory on other games because I wasn't able to save it in time before. I found this a VERY convenient edition. Now I don't ever have to re-do another mission because I forgot to save.

Fun for the family

It’s compelling and emotional story drive the player to get attached to the characters. There is clear explanations at the start and during the gameplay. The quiz at the start make it all the more personal and give insight to players about themselves. Fun game if youre a dungeon crawler fan.

Great Game if you like the dungeon crawler! Kind of how the dungeon series began as well!

Fun, long lasting and good quality

It came much quicker than expected and in good quality, i love the game and theres a lot of content in it. When i picked it up at the post office it even came in its own gameboy advance game case.

I bought this item for my 9 year old son who loves the Pokemon games, and this one is no exception. He has played this continuously since he received it. It is challenging enough to make it interesting to him but easy enough for him to want to continue and move forward in the game.
