Part 2 of 3

If you have read "This Boy" you will find this quite compelling because it's the second part of a poor boy who made good story.
I have now read all three books - the final one being "Long and Winding Road" and found myself sympathetic to Alan Johnson. He demonstrates the value of having someone from a very difficult background in Government.

A must read.

Story which is so inspiring whether you remember Alan Johnson or not. Takes you through his hard childhood. Tells you about his wonderful sister s love. Do buy and read and hand on. Inspirational.

A good read but not as good as the first book. Entertaining and well written.

Fascinating, I wish Alan Johnson was still on the political scene.

A great read by any standards. Alan Johnson paints pictures with words. Definitely on par with (This Boy).

Interesting!

An interesting review of Alan Johnson's political journey, family life and life as a postman. For me, a bit bogged down in places with names of fellow union members, meetings and union business, but if that's your thing then you will find this a good read.Vollständige Rezension lesen
