Good piece of kit
Great stereo but taken a couple days to fit it. Didn't realise I needed a fuse spilter to connect the power. Now I need to figure out the handbrake hookup so I can actually use android auto. The instructions are not clear at all about how to fit it, You tube has been a great help! Otherwise I would definately recommend the stereo to others! Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Flawed
Lots of reviews highlighting the good points - of which there are many - but this stereo has some glaring issues.
Android Auto is just not quite there yet. Pioneer have made a good attempt at making it work but is far from perfect.
Firstly the volume control is only touchscreen so you need to take your eyes off the road to find the button & adjust the volume. No option for a nice chunky volume knob. A £20 bit of volume tech to stick to your dashboard would transform usability.
Android Auto often freezes up completely & you have to reboot to get working again. But you need to turn off ignition & stop the car to do so. Not always convenient whilst driving .... !
Android part of the radio gets its current time check from your phone but the FM/DAB part of the radio needs to be set manually.
Android Auto always wants to start Spotify whenever I connect my phone, even if I stopped/exited Spotify on last use. I usually don't want to stream data unless I really have to.
There is no way to say "Google please stream FM Radio Channel X", will only stream internet radio not FM.
Android Auto will sometimes point blank refuse to navigate somewhere but will instead just say "The best way to get to XXX is via A303" but then no detailed instructions. Same instruction to a different post code/address kicks off Google Maps as it should.
Turns on Bluetooth on my phone but doesn't turn it off again afterwards.
Also refuses to play ball with my wifes phone which is a Xiaomi A2 but works with my A2 Lite, Go figure ...!
Still a decent stereo but Google and Pioneer could/should both do better. This product has been tested by someone with an unlimited data contract who doesn't listen to FM Radio & is so often stationary that they can take their eyes off the road long enough to interact with the touchscreen interface.

Just let people know to not push network speaker function in this model because you dobt have fader option after it and you have to reset the system ...
