EDUCATIVE SONGS and singing with the HEART!

Jewel is one of my favourite female artist, I love almost all of her songs...This CD I love it especially for Foolish Games and Who Will Save Your Soul...

Foolish Games - one of the most romantic songs ever composed...I adore Jewel's simplicity and tenderness...and "foolishness"...so sweet the song...and so sad...It's one of those "killing you softly" songs...:)

Who Will Save Your Soul I've seen it performed also in duet with Jesica Simpson...Jesica looks better, but Jewel is sweeter...Jesica is smart, but Jewel is smarter...Jesica is a real profesional artist, Jewel sings from the heart...Jesica really knows how to make money, Jewel is more interested in sending EDUCATIVE messages through her MUSIC...Jesica has a lot of fans, but Jewel's music CAN CHANGE THE WORLD! Mine is scratched

It is needless to say that Jewel has a beautiful voice. This cd is one of many that I have played so much it is scratched badly. This cd has a variety of songs and each of them are great. I bought the cd for 2 songs and ended up singing along to every one of them. The words to the songs are very deep and some of them make you want to cry.

I would say that this cd is a must have in any one's collection. I even know a few men that have it. Although my husband hates it, but that is because any time it is on I sing like crazy to it. And once I start, I can't stop until the song is over.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

jewel - pieces of you cd

I bought the Jewel 'Pieces of You' cd a couple of weeks ago. I already knew what to expect because i already owned th cd several years ago, but it was lost. This is my reasoning for purchasing the cd, because it is a very good cd if you enjoy mellow folk rock which i do. i would not reccomend a present day jewel fan to purchase the album because jewel is creating a whole different genre of music now. however, if you are into mellow, folky, coffee house tunes, this would be a good purchase.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Female Alternative

Her voice seems so "real" throughout this CD. Jewel is a true artist in her heart. When she recorded this.. it was all about connecting with the listeners deepest emotions. So many artists work to find the "cool niche" or something that will sell, but you get the feeling that Jewel really wants to make the world a better place.. and that she wants people to find themselves in her music.

Content way too dark

What I like, or actually love, is Jewel's awesome voice, that's why I purchased this CD~just to hear more of that crystalline voice. I know nothing of her style of songs, only had the beautiful Christmas CD to go by. However, I was very disappointed in this CD. This one is more of a 'ballad syle' of songs; which I normally wouldn't mind. But the content of these songs were sad and very dark~way too dark for me, so I gave it away. The "Classic" Jewel CD

If you know Jewel, it's probably because of this CD. There's a reason for that! All of the songs tell a story, impressive for an artist's first CD. Jewel's voice is soothing yet haunting on this album, revealing a personal part of herself. A Jewel

I'm not big into female vocals, but I love this woman.
I used to put this album on repeat when I would write short stories in Denver, my creativity would flow like a river.. Maybe it was just the soothing nature of the music & vocals.. but anyhow, you can't go wrong with this one, every song feels more like a poem, and you can tell the words come straight from her heart.

Pieces of You - Jewel

Great Music!

Originally I had bought this CD when it was released and instantly fell in love with it. Unfortunately over the years I had lost it, so I decided to look on ebay and horray!
