'Picnic' occurs during Labor Day and is fairly entertaining.

'Picnic' is one of the finest motion pictures ever made, although it is not in the same class as 'Gone With the Wind', this film features Rosalind Russell and Arthur O'Connell and many other good actors and actresses. The casting of this feature film was done with a high level of expertise. I played this DVD many times over a long weekend and I did not tire of watching it. This interesting screenplay was released in 1955 and to this day it holds its own against the competition.
Labor day was never so much fun as depicted in this motion picture. Stephen Sondheim's and George Furth's 'Company' which centers around Robert who happens to be celebrating his 35th birthday, he is still single, and he is surrounded by his married friends who are scheming to get him married to any of the women who happen to date Robert.
