It's like someone cleaned out my ears! These sound streets ahead of any other headphones I owned. the clarity and separation of instruments is amazing. The soundstage is so precisely represented, every instrument has its space. I am hearing new detail in music I've listened to many times before. Fantastic sound and build quality but harsh earpads

Sounds fantastic, the adjustable headband is very comfy and makes the headphone feel lighter than it is. I had to return mine however, as the velour earpads are on the rougher side, and it became very uncomfortable to me after a short length of time. I'm prone to be sensitive to these things, though.

If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, this is a great headphone.

Real presence

These headphones have a distinctive sound signature you will either like it or you won't. It is a rich, sharply defined sound with real presence - the word chiseled comes to mind... Excellent warm sounding headphone

A minor update to the X2/00, this model sports improved headband and earpads and the same expansive soundstage and incredible lower end reproduction. A very exciting headphone indeed.
