Classic Disney Animated Story and Characters, Childhood Favorite

This is a favorite of mine from childhood done in DVD format. It's a colorful engaging story with humor, adventure, imagination and magic. Full of sparkle and fun characters from the boy who never grows up, Tinkerbell the much loved Disney original fairy, mermaids, pirates, old west indians and so many more.

One of Disney's best

Second star to the right...

I have seen many versions of this timeless classic, but Disney's animated tale of Wendy, Peter Pan, and Neverland is by far one of my favorites. Though Disney did divert from the "real" story a bit, I feel that the changes were necessary for what they needed to accomplish...Making the story easier for young children to enjoy and understand. At least that's how I see it. For instance; we all know that Tinkerbell saved Peter by drinking his poisoned medicine. However, Disney changed it to a bomb in a gift box. Without these changes the movie would have been too long and not as enjoyable to a lot kids. Mine, being 3 the first time they watched it, got the bomb. But poison was a little over their heads.
My 4 year olds love this movie! It is so fun and the songs are very catchy too - My son sings one of them constantly. And even though I have grown up and seen more adult type Pan movies, my heart always feels like a kid again every time I watch this version with my children.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Peter Pan DVD,2002 Special Edition

I just love this movie for my three year old daughter. It makes me so happy to see the joy in her eyes when I put it on. Her face just lights up when Tinkerbell comes into the Nursery. Granted some people may think this is a little violent but I think it's no worse than what's on T.V. or in the movies these days. (I had put Kung Fu Panda on for her and she was so scared I turned it off) It's just a good clean movie full of timeless characters and wonderful life lessons.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Just small things

Goto try to clean the disc BC it plays to the menu then stops when I select play movie...but hopes that's fixes it

This was always one of my favorite Disney movies. I am happy to say that it is now one of my 2 daughter's favorites as well. We got the DVD when it came out and they have watched it over and over. All I can say is that I am glad that DVD movies don't wear out like VHS or Beta.

The clarity of the images is fantastic. Disney re-releases are always beautiful and this is no exception.

Special features are great for the adults or older children.

A definite must have for any family, but especially for those of us who remember or, more importantly, can't remember what it was like to be a kid.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Peter Pan DVD

I feel everyone, young and old, should see Peter Pan so I ordered the Peter Pan DVD for my young grandson, who has never seen a Peter Pan movie. He and his sister were so engrossed in the entire movie, they hardly moved a muscle. And I have to say, it's been years since I saw this movie, but the English accent of the father, especially, was delightful, the animation and quality of color were also wonderful.
