Bought this to feed my cat. It works just like they say it should. Kind of a pain to program, but do-able. Just wish my cat could eat dry food without vomiting after every meal....tried different foods, but to no avail. Got the AC adapter direct from the maker--best price I found. No lie, this thing will change your life

No more cat stomping on us at 5:00 or 6:00 every morning (whether it's a weekend or not.) No more having to arrange for someone to feed the cat when we go away for the weekend. Honestly, I love this thing. It has changed out life.

You set up the feeding times (up to five of them a day) and the amount of food to disperse, and your cat soon learns not to bother YOU when he's hungry, but to go camp out beside his "robot overlord" and wait for the conveyor belt to start up.

It's not too difficult to program either; the instructions are a bit complex, but laid out pretty well in the manual. (There are a few quirks: be aware when you're setting times that that noon is 12:00 am on the keypad. Also, you'll find that it gradually gains time, so that after a month or two the feedings are coming a few minutes earlier that they started; no problem, just reset the time on the clock.) Also, the sound of the food hitting the little metal dish (we call it the "dinner bell") is a little loud, so if it's near your bedroom you might want to put a silicon pad in the bottom of the bowl.

The good-sized hopper holds weeks worth of food, and has so far confounded the best efforts of a well-motivated tomcat.

It's a bit pricey, but not out of line with other autofeeders I looked at. And frankly, after having it for a couple of years, if we ever have to replace it, I will happily pay a good bit more if I have to. If I'm going to have a cat, I'm going to have this feeder.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Helpful automatic pet feeder

I have only had this feeder for a couple weeks and it works very well. The cats have caught on to using it just fine. I bought it for the stainless steel food bowl and the slow feed option. Easy, Easy!!!

Slick looking product... Comes with adequate instructions for easy setup.....Has worked perfectly so far. Took my cat about three days to become aware that the little sounds it makes means... DINNER!!! We like to ability to feed 1/8 cup and do so 3 times a day We think it will be perfect when we go away for that long weekend.... Great option for food pig cat!

Quick set-up; instructions easy to follow, set up in minutes. Looks solid enough to thwart my Houdini cat; She has broken into (& broken!) every other feeder I have tried. Will have to tack it to a wall somehow though - it's somewhat top-heavy with the food hopper - likely will get toppled in her attempts to break in. Otherwise, seems to do the job nicely. Time will tell.

Update - 8 months later and it is still standing (on its own with no attachment) and still working great! Houdini cat has lost weight and has not managed to break in or knock over. Highly recommend this. Just don't count on very small meal sizes. Would have liked to feed less, more frequently, but the smallest meal size 3X daily is working for a 6 pound cat. Plus the sound of the kibble hitting the SS dish is like an alarm. She runs down the stairs for her food - that's where the weight loss is coming from - EXERCISE!!Vollständige Rezension lesen

The only thing I wish was that this was more stylish rather than a mini black monolith. Dispenses perfect amount always on time. I feed two cats with one machine.

Pet Safe Pet Feeder

After being disappointed several times with other pet feeders for our 100# dog, this is the one that finally did the trick. The PetSafe Healthy Pet Simply Feed is a great choice for being able to feed a large pet that requires larger kibble in it diet. This unit has an almost fail-safe conveyor system rather than a rotating delivery system. Also, a mechanical arm that sticks up into the food bin moves back and forth to eliminate food jamming up above the conveyor. Automatic pet feeder.

We use this for our cats. I found it easy to program. Once programmed and the bin filled, I don't have to worry about feeding them for weeks. I do check the bin occasionally and refill it as needed. My cats love this also.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great feeder

Like this feeder a lot. The food rolls out nicely and doesn't get stuck up in the machine. The programming is a little complicated and took a while to get set up. All In all a good machine.

Easy to set up, got adapter for plug in also. Timer works perfect. Left our cats for 6 days, and all was great. What a relief.
