looks almost brand new. tested and works fine. shipping took a couple of days linger than expected in transit. purchased to replace broken one. it has been a very useful lens

Nice, cheap and speedy

I got this lens for my Pentax bodies. The price was good and the quality was ok! The speed of focusing is superb and it seems to be a good lens for the money.

good things can come cheaply

I bought this lens because it was offered at a cheap price and it was a Pentax lens. I trust Pentax quality and I was not disappointed with this little gem. Pentax FA 28-80

Lens came welled packaged. Arrival time was ahead of original date. Took this lens out and about to see if it was sharp an up to my standards..I have to say that enjoyed using this lens for the day. great older lens for today's DSLR

I'm currently using a Pentax K-3 II with APS-C sensor and though I'd heard that when you use an older lens designed for full frame 35mm exposures, it would work on a DSLR but crop the image some, I have not noticed this with mine at all. It works well in full auto mode (has aperture auto setting, as well as autofocus connection), but gives me the advantage of being able to shoot in full manual mode as well. I have compared images taken with two different lenses, one optimized for the K-3 and this one, and notice no real difference in image size or quality.

It makes Older Pentax lenses of great value since they will still work on most Pentax Cameras today!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Lightweight and great value

Excellant lense for most photos...very good resolution..silver paint does not wear well. Very good value however.
