Before he was a household word, Paul Simon was performing, often in Europe. You'll recognise most of these songs and arrangements, of course, but each is a little different than you've ever heard them before. For one thing, Simon is a bit more raw, sometimes beating that guitar up as he belts out songs. The contrast between these recordings and his later more polished ones is striking. Excellent album released in England 1965 before Simon & Garfunkel released their first album

Great Ensemble

I love every song on this album accept Paul's rendition of Sound of Silence. Every other song is excellent.
