The film is in 4:3 aspect ratio, bizarrely. Still watchable. Parenthood itself isn't as good as I expected on re-watching after several decades, but I still enjoyed it.

Feel-good and funny

Steve Martin may be not to everyone's taste as a comedian but the writing in this slightly schmaltzy family comedy is tight and extremely funny. Martin plays the "good" son of a curmudgeonly neglectful Father (Jason Robards) and follows the trials and tribulations of he and his siblings as reflected in the sometimes chaotic happenings around their respective children.Vollständige Rezension lesen
